Fuel pressure gauge and sending unit.

I want to install a fuel pressure gauge on my 2006 6.0 I want to use this sender;
Autex Pressure transducer/sender/sensor 100 psi stainless steel for oil, fuel, air, water
And I want to use this Isspro gauge;
R12044 100 PSI Fuel Pressure - 2 1/16" - R12000

Has any one used the Autex pressure sender? Are they ok to use?
Do I need a threaded adapter from the fuel filter test port to the sender? If I do need the adapter, what and where can it be bought?
Does this seem like it would work out?
I have read so many different way of doing this, just thought I would get some advice.
