Injectors

Im gettin a new set of sticks and was wondering if the RCD 175 CCs will get too hot on the street? I will tow with it on occasion and was thinkin about getting a Snow Performance injection kit to help cool egts of needed. Can I run the 175 CC or should I stay with 155 CC? I am oredering an SCT from them at the same time so could I get them to give me a tow tune to run the 175 CC injectors?

Re: Injectors

I run there 155s with no problems. Its a very mild injector. Runs great with stock charger. If I could go back I would just buy 190s

Re: Injectors

I run the 155's also. They will tell you if you have a stock turbo to run 155's, unless you want it to get real hot. But I can bury my 1600 egt gauge with an xtreme street tune.

I've hit 1600 with stock injectors and just my Innovative tunes!

I think if I did this I would just go to 190's as well.

Black smoke don't mean it's broke... it means your tuning sucks!

Re: Injectors

190s and a stock turbo work great for a street truck, light towing. 155s have enough fuel for 500 hp with a bigger turbo. I had 190s and didnt have any egt issues under normal driving. With the 190s I could get to 1700 under full throttle with a race tune and a stock 06 turbo. 155 - 175 is where you want to be
