Propane on a 6.0 = bad idea.

Re: homemade propane inj. kits?

I think propane worked good on the ole IDI motors and stuff, lots of guys would run it then with great results in power and mostly MPG.

I don't think it works quite as good with the newer direct injected computer controlled trucks. I guess maybe with the proper computer tuning it could work but I think there would be too many variables to account for with the tuning in conjunction with the propane.

Re: homemade propane inj. kits?

so if i was to install it on my old 7.3 idi im rebuilding with a fogger system i would see much better results than installing it on my 6.0 tow vehicle? would it make a difference if i was to run the bullydog digital set up or has anyone tried that?

Go ahead and get the idea of propane out of your head. It is not good period.
