BTS had the block crack in their white race truck. The most obvious symptom was it lost a few tenths.
After a few more passes (10-30, IDK) it finally started putting coolant in the oil.
Brian said it had him puzzled for a few weeks until it finally put the coolant in the oil. He and Cale were playing with programming and other stuff trying to get those few tenths back.
New block and they were back.
I had issues with big oil truck would not run with it. Oil pressure gauge was freaked out. Drove truck a month after returning home from DHRA in 07 truck had a bad vibration then one day she started leaking oiul real bad and I looked at it and thats when I saw the crack. It was running and the block casting was moving.

So I guess I will ask all of your opinions.... Ive got coolant going somewhere.... somewhere I can not find not out the tail pipe not into the oil and not on the ground, a shudder when the converter is locked, and motor doesnt sound the same at higher rpms. Also mileage dropped pretty drastically.
had a bad head gasket on a car one time before. didnt look like coolant was coming out the back but it was just engouf to make all kinds of problems.
start up the truck when its cold take off the radiator cap and look for bubbles or if you squeez the top of the radiator hose and its rock hard. the coolant hose should be a little soft not rock hard.
