Trans blown on 04' 6.0

i recently blew the trans in my pickup.... i was running a super chips cortex program with the trans tune on it and was wondering if running the trans tune did the damage or if it would have lasted longer? does anyone knows if matts tunes have trans command setups????

SCT with Matt, Aggie or Innovative tunes will be a world of diffrence over the Superchips you had.

Yes, all of Matt's & Aggie's tunes are very trans friendly.

Re: Trans blown on 04' 6.0

I think you need a bigger truck if you pull a trailer that large once a week. Unless your truck already is a 450-550.

Re: Trans blown on 04' 6.0

yes, an SCT with custom tunes will be much better on your tranny, even over stock tuning IMO. get an SCT and a good tow tune. my truck runs awesome on the tow tune
