exhaust

i have 4" turbo back exhaust right now with no cat. i want to put 5" from where the cat is supposed to be back. would it change the sound at all?

2004 F-250 regular cab long box, 6.0 w/ 6 speed, 4" turbo back exhaust, airaid airfilter, SCT, Sinister coolant filter, ARP studs, EGR delete, gauges- sold

2010 F-350 crew cab short bed Lariat. 6.4l with auto trans. Deleted and tuned.

It will be deeper and it will have more drone under steady accel or with a load.

I recently ditched my 4" system cause it was all rusted out, for a 5" system with is pretty much only 5" from the cat location back and noticed a deeper note.

I like the sound of a 5" system vs a 4. Sounds better to me. More mean and deep.

I like the look of the 5". I probably should have went with a 6" tip though.

Ultra lites ECT,EGT,EOT Oil and top fuel billet caps
banjo bolts drilled cautiously, ccv, zoodad mods Dieselsite coolant filter

5" will definitely sound deeper and louder. If thats what you are after, go for it.
