Re: how hard,

Wasn't tough to change out. I just had to readjust so it didn't vibrate up next to the fire wall. Also somehow I broke the bolt holding the downpipe to turbo clamp. Apparantly overtorqued. Anyway the friend helping me out, (two sets of hands make it easier) welded it back up and I was in buisness.

Re: how hard,

not hard at all my best advice is what i did and cut the stock down where i could pull one piece from out of the hood and the other fell right out

Re: how hard,

if you got a pit or a lift drop the trans cross member and let the engine tilt down then you will be able to drop the pipe down and give it a half turn and it will drop right out,,almost all of the new ones ar 2 pice so they go in easy
nwhen you are done make sure the intake and air filter are still hooked up, the stock one tends to pop out when you tilt the engine to hard

Re: how hard,

Did one on an '05 the other day and as mentioned above; either cut it in to two pieces or remove the tranny crossmember. He saw a 100 degree EGT drop between the OEM and the new 3 1/2" dp.
Anyone ever use a 4" one? I would imagine you would have to hammerize it to keep it from rubbing.??
