Headgaskets?

So my truck pukes coolant with studs no egr valve and a blocker plate. It runs good and there are no drips or leaks underneath it. Is it possible that my gaskets are blown?

Re: Headgaskets?

Yep, did you have the heads re-decked when you did the stud install?

Pull truck:
96' F-250 ex-cab
Swamps oil and fuel
T-bars,airbags, 5in stacks
getting back on the road soon.
Now have a s366 from Swamps now.

01' xlt excursion with a 7.3
all stock for now and gets 18mpg

Re: Headgaskets?

the only other thing you can check is oil cooler. (no more than a 15 degree difference between oil and coolant temp) other than that couple hundred bucks is all most places charge for magnaflux/milled.

Re: Headgaskets?

I agree with Brentos, I'd check the oil cooler before I made the leap straight to headgaskets.
