SunCoast convertor

I ran a suncoast tripple disk convertor #5R110-165-3D, that I bought off of the classifieds from this site, it was new and I payed just a little over half of the cost of what most guys are asking, problem is that the stall is just not high enough for the turbo I am running, Just wondering if any one has had the stall changed on there convertor, and who did it and what they charged??? I only put about 10 hooks on it and a total of 1200 road miles on it , tryed a couple of emails to SunCoast with no reply, any help would be great,

well you cant exactly change the stall on your converter. you will have to talk to suncoast and see if they will do it but it wont be cheap. they will have to cut it in half and modify or change the fins inside. you should just try to sell that one and order one. thats your best bet.

Re: SunCoast convertor

PI (Precision Industries) offers 1 free stall change during either the first year or 2 years IIRC but you'd have to call Suncoast about theirs

ON EDIT:
It's 1 free stall adjustment within the first 2 years of purchase. Just another reason to go with a PI Stallion

Current- 2006 Harley Davidson Edition F250 6.0L w/a "BUILT" engine, Unfortunately mis-assembled and installed by CenTex Diesel and a NAPD Heavy Hauler RACE SERIES Transmission

If you look close enough, PI makes the converters for Suncoast. They just put there name on them.
