SCT problem/question

No real emergency but my truck is set to xtreme street right now but when I plug the sct in and go to custom tune it says download error Code: 1034. The truck starts and runs fine but I am afraid to return it to stock and have it not start... any idea? thanks.

2004 F-250 6.0
117,XXX miles
05 front end conversion
Innovative's SCT tunes
ISSPRO EV LED gauges
7 inch single... straight piped
3 inch lift
18X9 XD Series Hoss
35" Toyo m/t's
Train horns
5% Tint

Best 1/4 - 13.96 at 95.46 MPH

Maybe you should contact SCT customer service.

I would probably double check with SCT or maybe innovative or something, but I found this while checking on that code.

DTC Code - P0172 on my car - I Also have error 1034 on SCT Tuner

Seems like the 1034 code on the SCT is some sort of communication error where 2 things are talking and canceling each other out or something.

2005 F350 Crew Cab Long bed

Hey, in that thread he said SCT told him to flash his car back to stock, than try to load a tune. He said it worked, maybe try that. Or just call SCT first to be safe...

yea I wasn't 100% sure on what their answer was in that thread. Either flash the car back to stock, or flash the tuner??? but sounds like flashing the car. I think either way I would give SCT a call first, or see if someone else has been there before, I always say better safe than sorry though

Ok yeah the device says return vehicle to stock IF it doesent start but it does, but ill give sct a call tomorrow to be safe. Thanks for the help.

my buddy had the same thing happen and we returned it to stock and re loaded it and it worked.

Yup I just returned the truck to stock and reloaded xtreme street and all is good!
