FASS....

it appears that that the FASS gremlin has taken up residence in my pump. went out this am to head to work...... no fuel pressure, the fuse under the hood is toast, no problem i have more...... 5 more later nothing has changed, it sounds like a garbage disposal in there when it runs and it only runs for like 5 seconds....... FASS opens at 8 am central time, i will be first in line this morning.

Re: FASS....

well i am not happy after the initial call to FASS, they want me to send them my pump...... that equals down time for my truck or they will send me a new one and charge me 425 core charge which is crap also. it has been on the truck for about a month now, he also told me to look at the site and the tech manual and try to troubleshoot it myself........so if i have time this weekend (god forbid i had plans to pull my camper) i will look at it, how hard? not hard at all it shouldnt be my problem at this point, FASS should send me a new pump and a shipping label to return their old one, i shouldnt have to pay to ship their pump back to them........

Diesel Dan use to be the man there. He is no longer with them.

Mine fails again, I'm going the HP Airdog route.

Yep, sent it back and paid a $200 core 'til mine was returned. They got the replacement pump to me the next day. And yes, that was dealing with Diesel Dan.

Re: FASS....

200 isnt bad, but 425 seems steep to me, shipping prolly wont be cheap either.
