How long have you been tuned? Any issues?

I searched a few times but I'm sure this has been posted before but.......i was curious how long ya'll have been running tuned? Mainly, i'm wondering if running tuned will effect the longevity of my truck. I don't really run it all that hard (except for on ramps and the occasional quick race) and I'm always concerned about keeping it in perfect mechanical condition. I'm having studs put in within the next two weeks and i'll delete the egr soon enough but after that, is there anything else i should worry about?? thanks!

ive been tuned for 75 k or a little more. the first 25 k was with a bully dog and had no problems except it was a little rough on the tranny. The last 50 k have been with a sct tuned by tony wildman at total diesel and i have no issues what so ever it shifts good and runs extremely well.

Re: How long have you been tuned? Any issues?

I was tuned for 10k with a hypertech, now about 15k with an SCT. Hypertech caused my truck to run a little hot while towing, no issues at all with the SCT...

Been running a race file pretty much daily since 1500 miles. Got about 40k on it right now with no issues.

Re: How long have you been tuned? Any issues?

well I have put about 5 k on mine since i tuned it but it had 195K on the clock when I did it all stock yet none the less. I run alll the tunes and am not easy on it. Took it to the strip and ran 6 runs 3 back to back when it was 95* on race and not an issue and have pulled with it no problems so I am lucky or holding a hand gernade with the pin pulled
