need help

hey does anyone know how to get a striped hex bold out of the water separter on the frame on the driver side?

Do you have the replacement bolt at the ready? I remember seeing a Torx 50 or 55 driver used instead of the allen driver to removed the stripped, but it's obviously unuseable after... I could be wrong here

yeah i have one i just dont want to pay $115 dollars for the dealership to do it.

I don't know what to tell you, bud. With it being a plastic/aluminum housing, it is easily broken. If the dealer breaks it in the process of removal, they pay to replace it... It might be worth it in this case...

I had to JB weld an allen wrench into it to get mine out. I let it sit overnight and it came right out. Replaced the bolt and it has been fine since.

2003 F-250 4x4
6" pro-comp lift
37" tires
Studs, EGR delete

hose her down with cat piss afew times . get an extractor bit and wallah. have a spare after it's done peeing .
