Transmission Rebuild Time

Well Long story short, Tow haul light flashing and truck wont move RPM's will go up but truck sits still. After I let it sit for minute off and restart it will move for about a 100 yards or so then its like its not in gear anymore. I'm awaiting the results from the dealership to see what is up (broke down right in front of the stealership and coasted into their parking lot so I decided to leave it there ). But the way my luck runs i'm looking into a full rebuild. With that said Anybody know any good rebuild shops around Indianapolis, or have some advice on who to contact for rebuild. mods are in my sig, changing turbo and injectors to 190/100's with 68mm turbo from ????? (haven't decided yet)

Thanks Fellas.

Re: Transmission Rebuild Time

Warren makes a strong built trans for a good price, as far as te turbo you have options such as barder, kc, and mtw.

2004 6.0 ccsb Warren 430/150 hybrids, Warren Comp Trans, Warren Dual Hpop, Billet S475 w/race cover, Marty's A1000 Fuel System, Colt Stage 2, and all the other supporting stuff

Re: Transmission Rebuild Time

as for transmission options, like JGman said, warren does build pretty good units. i was quoted $10500 for a full billet suncoast trans... it all depends how far you want to go. I would consider looking at NADP for a trans. turbo wise.. do you want to stick with a VGT? right now i am running a billet/remachined 64mm powermax with my 205/100s i do need more air but it definitely does a good job. MTW is a good vgt option also. if you would consider a nonvgt, look at a billet S366
