Re: Need non vgt turbo help

That's going to be a little tuff to do, 75% nozzles are not going to be very towing friendly. Are you going to be using a t4 housing?

Re: Need non vgt turbo help

t4/t3 housing doesn't matter to me, my buddy has a 7.3 i know a little bit bigger motor but hes got 230/80 with an s300 and tows everybody 8k plus and his egt are low so im thinking being a little smaller motor and towing less then 4.5k i should be fine

Re: Need non vgt turbo help

I would look into the s364 with the FMW, that should spool up quick enought with the right size turbine wheel and housing. I'd look into the 71mm wheel with a .91 divided housing.

Re: Need non vgt turbo help

Ok thanks, I just looked into this s300 I have and it's got a 66mm wheel with an 91. I'm thinking that it would work if I got a wicked wheel or a fast spool wheel in it

Re: Need non vgt turbo help

If you do get a billet wheel I'd have the turbo balanced

Re: Need non vgt turbo help

The only s366 I saw on a 6.0 spooled fairly decent, he was towing my truck on a goose trailer and 350/100 on a tow tune. Obviously there was a lot of fuel pulled out but it stay really cool for what it was.

Re: Need non vgt turbo help

Ok, well thanks I think I'm going to try the s300 out I don't see why not the turbos are fairly close and I might be able to save a little bit of money, my only other question is do you think I shoul get a bigger hpop or will the stock one be fine?

Re: Need non vgt turbo help

Stock hpop should be fine with 190/75s
