What turbo and where to buy y-pipe

So I'm replacing my turbo since is whining really bad and won't build boost.
I'm looking to find a good turbo that is more powerful than stock. I'm also getting ready to buy some little over stock injectors so I would like a little bigger/better turbo.

Also where is a good place to buy y-pipes with or without bellows just really looking for a good place to buy parts and performance parts

Thanks

What are your goals with the truck? And what is the truck going to be used for?

*dd-play truck 2005 ccsb, custom painted with warren's 430/150s hybrids, custom Barder s475, warren's trans, custom fuel system, mpd up pipes and manifolds, and too much other stuff to name.

*tow pig-nice work truck 2008 ccsb afe intake, exhaust, gearhead tunes.

*Farm trucks 1997 rclb and 2001 ccsb 7.3s

And what do you mean by "a little over stock" on injectors? Your choice in turbo will depends on your choice of injector size.

Lots of good turbo builders Now for these trucks. Top two out there would be Barder and KC Turbo.

Just bought a Stage 1.5 from Charlie (KC) and a set of uppipes from Nate at WPE. Haven't installed either yet, but should this weekend.

Tuned by several...depends on my mood for the day.

For injectors I'm looking at getting some warren stock plus injectors.
And my truck gets used a lot when it comes to camping season towing light loads like atvs or a pop up. But then also a good amount of trails and I live in colorado so high altitude

Do you have the truck head studded and egr may I ask and what do you mean by stock plus injectors from warren's? I talked to jesse from warren's at least once a week and never heard say "stock plus injectors". Do you mean make the injector bigger and keep the nozzle size stock. Or changing both the injector and nozzle size. And if I was you since your towing just go with a 62 vgt turbo from Barder or kc and call it day no need to change the years pipes for what your doing unless they need repacked.

That's my bad for not including my truck info. It's a 2004 with 190000 had arp head studs and oem gaskets. Egr delete, new oil cooler, coolant filter, blue spring, 4in exhaust, sct tuner with custom tunes.

Stock + injectors
That's the link to the warren stock+ injectors that I'm looking at getting.

also I do need to replace my ypipe had a decent crack in the bellows

Re: What turbo and where to buy y-pipe

Okay then you should be fine. But do you realize stock plus injectors from warren's they are not making your injectors bigger they are just testing them on a flow bench and replacing the wore out or broken pieces on the injectors you send them. Y pipes check out the major vendors and see what works for you the best and depending on what turbo you get y pipes are different for a vgt and non turbo.

If I were you I would get the 175/stock injectors, it's only $50 more and you can still tow like stock

2004 6.0 ccsb Warren 430/150 hybrids, Warren Comp Trans, Warren Dual Hpop, Billet S475 w/race cover, Marty's A1000 Fuel System, Colt Stage 2, and all the other supporting stuff

Does Jesse pay you to push those 175's?

Yes that's a good all around size for people wanting to upgrade, but a 175 isn't for everyone....

Re: What turbo and where to buy y-pipe

I would go with 175/stock. They will run exactly like 155/stock or stock+ on a tow/street tune. But on a race tune you will have a little bit more fuel. It is a not brainer for only $50 more.

For a turbo I would either get a stage 1.5 or stage 2. There are a lot of great turbo builders out there like MTW, Barder, and KC Turbos... But my vote goes to KC Turbos

175/stock + KC Stage 1.5 = 450-500hp, spool like stock, no turbo whistle, awesome tow combo, very streetable, this is a great combo for those guys looking to make a little more power than stock... but get too crazy. Will run a little hazy at WOT on a race tune.

175/stock + KC Stage 2 = 475-525, will spool just slightly slower than the stage 1.5 (but hardly noticeable to most people), will whistle like pmax/2003 turbos, will tow just fine as long as you keep your rpms up with heavy loads, should have no problems with smaller loads. This will have a lot more top end power over the stage 1.5 and will start pushing the limits of the stock tranny. Should run very clean on an all out race tune at WOT

Hope that helps
