Mobil 1 gets my vote. Easy to find and isn't too much more over the other 5w40s out there.

Re: best oil to use in my 6.o?

I have been running the amsoil 15-40 and 5w-40 for 100K.. and have had no issue. Also running the oil bypass filter which does a great job at keeping the oil cleaner. It is a bit more then the T6 but if you order as a perfered customer from thier site.. it is shipped to your door, saving the time to go shopping and arrives (for me) next day.

Re: best oil to use in my 6.o?

Should add that i also add Archoil 9100 to oil to help due away with stiction. Sure the Oil changes (with the bypass filter are upwards of 200 bucks\ with Archoil... but i tow also and have not had any issue with stiction or engine oil related issues. I change at 5-6K intervals and just rolled over 184K

Re: best oil to use in my 6.o?

I had some injector issues early on ... while under warrenty Ford replaced 2 of them, once i swapped oil and started running additives i havent had another injector issue (i just jinxed myself propbibly).. so i just stick to the routine.. old habits die hard.
