05 f250 need tire size help

Hi I have a 05 f250 king ranch with the factory 275 70 18 tires on factory rims and I am going to put a 1.5 in level kit on it and I'm wanting to put 35in tires on it but the only tire I have been told that would fit is the 285 75 18 toyo open country mt or At's. My question is does anyone know what size tires will fit on this rim that are 35in or is toyo the only tire I can run??

A 285/75/18 is a 285/75/18.... It,doesn't matter what brand it is.

If memory serves me right, I ran a 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grappler on my 04. Translated to about 34.5" tall.

Re: 05 f250 need tire size help

Toyos always measure just shy of what they are supposed to be that's why they reccomend them. I have heard of 35s rubbing slightly with the leveling kit and the toyos not rubbing at all.

Re: 05 f250 need tire size help

I had 35 trail grapplers at one time with no lift. It only rubbed on the radius arms at full lock sometimes. But they were 20's, idk that matters. Hope this helps.

I have the leveling kit and Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 295x70x18 on the stock wheels. Love them. Fit perfectly. Are wearing great.
