Looking for a good tune

I've got a 07' f-250 with 6.0 it has some work done, I'm looking for a safe custom tune that gets good fuel economy but still has enough power to pull a light trailer if need be. I was looking at the sct live wire ts but don't know where to got from there.

Re: Looking for a good tune

Matt writes a good 8K tow tune and a good performance file that delivers good power and fuel economy when you're not towing: SRL.

Re: Looking for a good tune

If you want just a "good" tune then any of the vendors are gonna be fine, if you want the "best" tune call up Drew at Back Road Performance. His are by far the best.

Re: Looking for a good tune

We can get you setup with a tune to meet those needs as well. If you don't already have an SCT device to tune with, check them out HERE.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

You should try the raped ape tune from drew as well the spd is good but I always had a light switch effect on my throttle you will like the raped ape better. I've ran just about everyone's tune drew is the #### call him at midnight he will answer he doesn't blame any issues on your truck either he always makes it right even if he has to do 100 edits to make you happy

I will def look into that. I just checked out their website... good price too. Does he tune the tranny well too? Any numbers on power or pretty close to SPD? Thanks!

Re: Looking for a good tune

Using my ass dyno I'm gonna say the the power is comparable. The difference is my truck idles, accelerates, shifts better with the raped ape. Another issue I had with tsd is when I did the injectors upgrade from stock to 175/75's chris didn't want to edit my tune he said it would be fine, I also think they really don't care about how much timing he adding... Jmo I feel like customer service is key. If your customer wants you to change it...well then you change it or at least act like you did lol
