Sinister Vs. Bulletproof?

Hi Everyone,

sorry, I am not a frequent poster, but I find myself needing some advice here!

So it happened; the uh oh 6.0 struck.., my head gaskets and egr went.
I am in the process of buying my parts after the tear down and needed some advice as to which company to go with...Bulletproof or Sinister?

Definitely doing ARP Studs, Ford OEM gaskets, oil cooler, egr cooler, filtration systems...but which company to go with...

Thanks in advance! Sorry is this is dredging up old posts.

Re: Sinister Vs. Bulletproof?

Where are you located man? If you are around Bill from powerstrokehelp he will have, and is able to do everything you could imagine to fix and give a lifetime warranty on your repairs. However Bullet proof makes some good quality stuff and so does Sinister. I say call some good shops and ask the question of what do you guys use. As far as I know Sinister's black onyx gaskets are not known for being great so your on the right road already with the OEM Head gaskets. I am sure someone here will have more in depth knowledge of both companies.

2003 F250 6.0, 4" on Pro Comp 35's, Twin Grand rock 6" mitre cuts set to 2" above cab, Dyno Mat cab, SCT X4, Blue spring, CCV mod, Delta tool box. And it is NEVER CLEAN

I dont walk this way because of the wounds I have suffered in the line of duty, but because my balls are just that big!

The cheap deletes are not really much diffent than the expensive ones but oil coolers stick with ford parts. unless you want to rebuild the motor within a year

Re: Sinister Vs. Bulletproof?

for what the op is looking for I wouldn't get hardly anything from either retailer listed

maybe sinister for the coolant filter BPD doesn't sell one

and if like Me i need a real EGR cooler I would go bulletproof but everything else can be shopped and last I heard Sinisters oil cooler is not the OEM so avoid

Re: Sinister Vs. Bulletproof?

Thanks guys, I ended up with BPD for most of the stuff (EGR and ARP etc), and replaced almost everything else with OEM. Talked to some guys around me that works on these regularly, and had one of the do the repairs. Truck is due back in a few days......

Thanks for the help everyone, i appreciate it very much; it helped a lot to get this done right.
