No crank/cam sync

Hey guys I've been busy all summer doing a full rebuild of my motor, stripped down to bare block. I've got it all back together now with new crank and cam sensors but they won't sync up for some reason. Only new things besides bearings and rings are a colt stage 2 cam and upgraded valve train. I have AE and that's how I know there is no sync between the two. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have an rpm signal?

Re: No crank/cam sync

Clean the mounting surface for the sensors. Just a couple of thousandths will stop them from creating a signal. Also double check you sensor while hooked to a DVOM on A/C scale and pass a wrench back and forth in front of the sensor.

Re: No crank/cam sync

Well it turns out that the brand new crank sensor was bad. Replaced it with another and it has signal.
