6.0 powerstroke clutch

Hi all.

i am looking into getting an aftermarket clutch for my ZF6. only problem i am having is estimated how much power/tq my truck is making. i would like to ask some of you that have similar mods that have been on a dyno. I dont tow anything really heavy and i never intend to pull with the truck. I just like to drive it like its stolen

Performance Mods:
Edge attitude w/ Juice
Straight Pipe
Blue Spring mod
Head studs
EGR delete
Also i have larger tires (275/70r20) General Grabbers

i also need to account for a WWG2 Billet compressor wheel.

My guess is i am somewhere around 450 HP 700 Tq at the crank. All i know is that its too much for my stock clutch

Re: 6.0 powerstroke clutch

South bend 450hp single sounds right up your alley.

WWG2 isn't going to add any power worth noting.

400hp is about the max I would expect from edge tuning so you have a little room.

Just remember to stay with the single disc, I haven't had a customer yet thats been happy with the dual disc.

Re: 6.0 powerstroke clutch

I have simular mods maybe a little more moded even and I have the south bend 450 single and really like it.

2004 Ford F350. 373 rear end. Amsoil, or Redline in everything except motor Rotella T-6. Egr delete, ARP studs, coolant bypass, oil bypass. Add Tcw3 to my fuel. 4 in turbo back, and AFE cold air. Sct x3 with PHP tunes and FICM Atlas 40 tune.

Re: 6.0 powerstroke clutch

All I am expecting from the wwg2 is less lag. Also I never even thought of a dual disc. not necessary for what I'm using it for

How is the driveability with the 450 south bend? Also how many miles can I expect out of the clutch if driven carefully?

Any other brands worth looking into? (Valair, phoenix friction, etc)

Thanks for the replies!
