Degas Bottle

Mine got a pinhole leak in it yesterday, is it worth it to try a plastic sealer or just get a new one? Also is it best to buy OEM or aftermarket?

Re: Degas Bottle

most say the dorman brand is ok

the system is 16 psi so if u can seal the hole go for it but it may not be the last

having a new clean bottle is nice

Re: Degas Bottle

I may try the plastic JB weld first as a temporary fix then when that goes buy OEM. I sure don't want anything catastrophic happening.

Re: Degas Bottle

If it is a pinhole, use a sealer, plastic washer, and a sheetmetal screw. I would go with a new bottle.
