JGC Parts Delete Kit?

I found a guy to do my EGR delete kit and he said he likes to install this particular kit that is $80 from JGCParts. He said he hasn't had any problems with it and recommends it to all of his customers. Anyone out there ever used this kit?

Never heard of them... Kinda leary of eBay stuff... But it's a pretty simple kit. This isn't a very hard procedure if you have a spare day available to do it yourself.

I saw one of Hewitt's videos that that type of delete kit may or may not cause a Y-Pipe crack because the up pipe is blocked off instead of installing a new up pipe. However my mechanic I'm using said he recommends the kit and go doesn't see it being a problem.

Spend the extra coin and get the solid stainless uppipe. Don't skimp out. You'll just be back in the shop later replacing it, and I'm sure labor costs the second time around will be more than just buying a decent delete kit up front.

I found this kit also, am getting Sinister Y-pipes installed with studs, am thinking is good enough if you don't have to mess with the up pipe plug, hopefully coolant line is pressed into blockoff plate good enough. Might pick it up, don't need the up pipe.
