Anyone near Louisville, KY who can install EGR/Oil cooler kit?

I'm getting kind of desperate here. My oil cooler is on it's way out (may be a fan clutch but I doubt it) and I've talked to various shops around the Louisville, Lexington, and Southern Indiana areas and they are all backed up for at least a month. I was hoping someone out there on these forums can do it for me soon like in the next couple of weeks and for a fair price for parts and labor (idk what kit to get). Anyway if you can do the work or know someone who can please post!! I'm trying all of the fourms!

Oil coolers don't "go out". They clog. Need a way to monitor your oil and coolant temps (EOT,ECT). That'll tell you if the cooler is indeed clogged.

What are your symptoms? When you threw that "or maybe it's a fan clutch" statement in there, it got me to wondering.

After driving awhile the EOT/ECT temp differences get larger. I've seen up to 26 degrees after driving an hour on a hot day.

Another thing is tonight I was driving home and I was crusing at around 55 mph and when I get home I decided to see how much pressure she was holding so I unscrewed the cap and it was like there was none. Idk of the outside air temp had anything to do with it but I found that strange. As well as a louder hissing noise than usual with the turbo.

What are your actual ect/eot numbers? Is ect up to 190ish? If ect is 190ish, and eot is 26 higher, then yea, you need a new cooler. If ect stays in the 170ish range, then you need a new t-stat.

Hissing sound around the turbo could be a leak...cracked uppipe possibly. They are know. To make a high pitched squeal/hiss sound, and are probe to crack and leak around the bellows. How is boost? Have a gauge to monitor?

I have a scangauge and I noticed my boost (after I subtracted normal atmospheric pressure) was normal. and the hissing isn't high pitched. My temps got up to 190 today so the thermostat is fine. However the explanation for the lack of coolant pressure, according to my mechanic doing my delete kit next week, is a seeping EGR cooler. There is no white smoke and smell of coolant but he said the cooler is most likely cracked and to keep putting distilled water in it until it is fixed.
