What is this?

Hey all, I was looking around the engine bay and saw this line that appears to be tapped into another line/hose. it is zip tied all the way to the drivers side and runs into the cab by the gas pedal. Haven't found the end yet in the cab, but supposedly the truck had some gauges at some point.

Re: What is this?

Kinda hard to tell what it is hooked up to, but based off the type of connection and tubing, that is for some sort of aftermarket pressure sensor...that or I suppose it's possible that line actually flows something through it, but to what? lol I know the heater line shutoff valve is right there. If it's tied into there somehow then I would suspect it was for a cooling system pressure gauge. Without more detailed pics it's impossible to say for sure.

Re: What is this?

it appears to be where someone tee'ed into the map sensor line to install a boost gauge.

Re: What is this?

Boost gauge. Easy was is to tap into MAP line, which is how that one is. I'd find the end inside the cab and make sure it's plugged. If not, that's a boost leak. Lik

Re: What is this?

Definitly looks like a boost gauge line that was not plugged. Found all these by the A pillar with just electrical tape wrapped around them. Now to figure out what the others are.
