Brake Controller issue

I have recently started having issues with my trailer brake controller. for the last year they worked fine with my buddies new gooseneck. But now they come in really jerky almost as if it jumps straight from 0 brakes applied to whatever gain I have set. Then they fade out completely as i come to a stop. I am getting no error messages and all the lights always work on the trailer.

Also the trailer brakes work for anyone else's vehicles with controllers.

Plug seems in good shape and no corrosion.

Any ideas?

Re: Brake Controller issue

Have you tried adjusting the Gain to a lower set point? Any recent brake fluid change? Power steering fluid change?

You see, in this world there's two kinds of people my friend....those with loaded guns, and those who dig.

You dig.
