Wheel spacers?

What's everyone take on wheel spacers? Good? Bad? I thought about getting them to add a half inch width but I don't know if that's a bad idea or not

Re: Wheel spacers?

Most input I have seen is it is not a good idea to run spacers. I have no experience however but there is a lot of pressure on those lugs already. better to buy offset rims in my opinion.

Re: Wheel spacers?

I have considered wider tires with the offset I have but my only concern with that would be if the tires would set to far in. The stock offset I think is +40 and the wheels I have are +18 I think. I don't know allot about tires and wheel sizes. The reason I would like a little more width is because of my bushwackers

Re: Wheel spacers?

I personally wouldn't run spacers it just adds something else to possibly create additional stress on a already heavy duty truck sitting on your lugs. Do it right and buy the proper wheels like WI 350 said.
