throwing codes, just bought scangauge 11 scanner.need help figuring it out

Just bought a scangaauge 2 but cant figure out how to monitor oil temp and engine coolant temp to find out if I need a new oil cooler.what is a delta? Thanks for the input.by the way its not throwing all those codes only the po276 code.which is good I guess?

You need to program custom "X-Gauge" codes to monitor those. ( Coolant temp is preprogrammed but I programmed my own so I could choose the abbreviation)

Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Specific : Linear Logic : Home of the ScanGauge

Delta = Difference between the 2 temps.

Okay figured out how to program I have a 11* delta between engine oil temp and engine coolant temp.is that normal or is my oil cooler on its way out? Thanks for all the help

To take an accurate reading you need to have the truck up to full operating temp, on a fairly level road, and at a constant speed. Under these conditions, the general consensus is less than 15 is ok. (less is better)
