Torque converter

So, i found a trans shop locally that supposedly sells the PI converter, but he said it is only 679$ and is a single disc converter. I asked him arent the factory ones triple and he said he didnt think so. Also said he has 600 hp and 600 ft lbs with just tuner (calling bs on that one) in his personal truck and has that same converter and loves it. Not sure if i can trust what i'm getting or not. Thoughts? I like the price, but not sure exactly what i'm getting.

Re: Torque converter

Id say there is no way and he has no idea what he's talking about. You need to get a triple disk billet converter.

Re: Torque converter

Run far away from that tranny shop and NEVER go back... Either call Andy or PI directly.
