SCT SF3 with custom tunes on stock head bolts

I have a 05 F350 that I recently bought and was just wondering what's safe(est) tune to run on stock head blots while still having fun. It has 4in straight pipe, egr delete on the way, and came with AFE mag force intake. Just ordered this SCT SF3 tuner with custom tunes from MPT(friend recommended it):

Is tuning unsafe? No not in my opinion, are there good tune builders and not so good tune builders yes for sure. Will tuning a truck make things break? Not in my opinion, the stuff that usually fails after tuning is stuff that is known to be weak on our trucks anyways, so it might speed up a failure but I don't really think it will flat out cause one. Unless the tune is really hot and made for a fully modded truck and you load it to a stock one. Tune the truck but bank cash for repairs, tuned or not repairs of the weak points are coming eventually. Just my .02

Been running tunes from Innovative on mine with stock bolts for over a year now with no issues. The key is to stick with a moderate tune, and don't drive like an idiot all the time. If you load up a race file, it won't last long. Even the small tunes from most tuners now are night and day difference from stock.

Stock bolts here. The key is to monitor, monitor, monitor...and use common sense.

I'm running Drews economy/tow tune on stock head bolts no issues he's great to work with as well. Very friendly and helpful.

I ran tunes on my 05 E350 6.0 on stock headbolts without issue. Just make sure your tuner knows you're not studded and they should be able to write your tunes accordingly. Also, make sure you have a way to keep an eye on what your engine is doing. Plenty of guys have blown gaskets on stuck trucks because of maintenance issues or just plain not paying attention.
