Sct locked up

I was switching tunes, and when it got to the memory storage section it stopped at 99%.. Do I have any hope or do I have to get it towed to Ford and have them reflash my pcm, how much might that cost, and what would cause this to happen? Now I'm going to be scared to load a tune into my truck lol

97 F-250, 300/100's, e-fuel, Gearhead tunes, Stokers Unlimited stage 3 trans and T4 mount, s366, ARP studs, Comp 910's, Smith Bros PR's

Could be low battery issue these tuners are touchy when under 11.5 volts
Make sure all accessories are off and you might even put a charger on the truck

I had the same issue with mine awhile back, ended up being I need the update from sct.

2004 6.0 ccsb Warren 430/150 hybrids, Warren Comp Trans, Warren Dual Hpop, Billet S475 w/race cover, Marty's A1000 Fuel System, Colt Stage 2, and all the other supporting stuff

Well $75 later it's being sent to SCT to be unlocked. Accoring to SCT it's married to someone elses truck, the vin I gave them didn't match the vin the SCT was linked to, which idk how that is possible because I've switched between tunes several times on MY truck without a problem. I guess that depends when that update came out, because I loaded my Extreme street tune on about 2 months ago and that was the last time I used it

I had a similar issue with bullydog. I could not unload the tuner they said it was cause the vin didn't match my truck but the thing had been on the and working for two years. They wanted 380 bucks to give me the unlock code, I told them where they could shove there pos tuner. I'm kinda disappointed that bullydog and sct merged it makes me want to throw my sct in the trash....just kidding

Midas well just get a ts6 or hydra and be done with it and you can switch on the fly whenever you want.

terrible idea to get any programmer that shifts on the fly. SCT is where it's at had a EDGE and messed up my truck glad it didn't do too much harm. My understanding is that any programmer that you can change on the fly only tricks the computer not fully programs it which is a huge red flag out of the gate.

I think he's referring to a 7.3, I'm talking about my 6.0.. It didn't cross my mind to ask them but I wonder if I'll still have my custom tune on the SCT?? If not what's a good daily tune you all recommend? I want to try Gearhead or TSD, and I'm also curious about Tony Wildman being that I have his tunes on my 7.3. I know this isn't good for a daily driver but I want a tune with early lockup, or should I just install a 3 way switch and manually lock it when racing/having fun (which is what I want the most and the most convenient), and also have the option to switch it to normal operation for DD

Ya I wasnt sure whitch truck in your sig you were talking about and didnt even take notice it was in the 6.0 section. My bad lol
