Installed SCT tune now can't return to stock

So I put one of the canned tunes from my SCT iTSX in my 06 F350 yesterday, and shortly after that my ultra gauge started popping up with errors on all the gauges. Didn't think too much about it, but when I went to install a different tune I'm getting an error that says "cant read strategy." So I tried returning to stock and got an error saying "cannot marry vehicle."

I've already emailed SCT, but I figured I'd see if anyone here had any clue as to what I can do to fix this. The truck is running fine, completely different beast compared to stock, but I have nothing but RPM, MPH, and coolant temp on my ultragauge, so I'm basically flying blind as far as watching for problems.

try resetting the iTSX there is a little hole that a pen or paperclip will fit in, this might help. I haven't had the issue your having but had a sync issue once and this fixed it by resetting the programmer. keep us updated on what the issue is.

You have to make sure your battery's are up to par also. Make sure all your accessories are off pull the radio fuse. You might even hook a battery charger.

Batteries are good. Ill try pulling the radio fuse.

It went perfect when I put the first one on, so I dont think thats gonna be the issue but Ill try it. SCT's reply was to call them when Im in the truck with the tuner. So I guess Ill try that next.

Re: Installed SCT tune now can't return to stock

I almost think that when I did the initial reset and update on the tuner, it kept some of the old info from the last car it was on. Still shows the old weight and everything.

Tried SCT but got stuck on eternal hold. I'll try again in a few minutes.
