Opinions on injectors

I no there's a lot of info and I have did a bit of research but still have some questions. My injectors have a little miss if I run rev x they run almost perfect but if I don't it runs like chit. I was checking into warren diesel 155cc injectors 1250 dollars for a set of rebuilt sounds like a awefully good price but I want to no there good quality. The future plans for the truck are just studds reg return and a powermax or similar non Vgt. I'm not looking for tons of power if I could reliably lay 500 down I'd be thrilled. I do occasionally tow my toy hualer 13-15k loaded and would want to no if 155s and stock turbo and bolts would be safe I was thinking with the small jump in size it would be easy to tune around? Any info is great

Re: Opinions on injectors

I've been told 155's are great for towing with the stock turbo (was actually told this by Jesse Warren himself). You'd probably need to tune for them though... I'd imagine they'd get a little smokey at times. As far as being safe for stock bolts....anything over stock increases the risk of blowing HG's.

Re: Opinions on injectors

You can tow with any turbo/ injector combination. Just have to have the right tune written for it.
Now as far as the headbolts... Get it studded before you do too much.

Re: Opinions on injectors

Studs would be the next step before I tried to make more power it's just a good time to get injectors before I start having issues I wish I could do all at once but that's not an option and don't really wanna buy stock injectors now to buy bigger ones in a year as of right now I would be content running a small tow tune for daily driving and towing if was thinking that a good tow tune wrote for the injectors would put less stress on the hg than Beatin it up on my extreme street tune. Am I on the right track or is studs an almost must before injectors

Re: Opinions on injectors

I would stud before injectors. It goes back to increased cylinder pressure.
