So I installed my new Livewire ts and am just runnin the canned performance tune right now for the time being.
But now I dont hear the turbo whistle at all at an idle like I used to and its throwing the p0470 code now.
2006 F-250 XLT 6.0L 4x4 CC Auto, 8X,XXX miles: 6.4 banjos, RR blue spring, ARP's, EGR delete, STC update, digital FP gauge, SCT Livewire TS, coolant filter, S&B CAI, CFM Smallmouth, 5" straight pipe with 8" tip. Updated turbo feed/drain.
P0470 is an Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor Circuit Error. Check the plug to the EBPS and the sensor itself. If you have a way to monitor live data, look and see what the EBPS is showing with the key on and the engine off.
Key on and engine off it is reading right at 143Hg
Funny that it reads Hg instead of PSI. 143Hg = 70.23psi. KOEO, the EBPS should read about 14psi depending on the elevation you live at. Sounds like either the sensor is bad (most likely) or the wiring is bad (Less likely).
