Talking HPOP New, Reman ??

Where is the best place to order a new or remain HPOP for a 2004 6.0? The best bang for your buck as some people would say. I don't mind spending more if the part is sure enough better but if it's just equal than I just assume spend what I have to. Hope that makes sense they I have put it. Thanks in advance.

If you have an early 04 this is the HPOP I would use. I love spending other peoples money.

Re: HPOP New, Reman ??

I only use ford reman's just make sure to replace the little screen under the oil cooler. the original nylon screen deteriorates and gets sucked into the hpop and ruins it the new one is metal screen

Fixing ford diesels since before they had turbochargers

Re: HPOP New, Reman ??

Ok thanks, as I bought this truck with a bad motor and not running so I have totally rebuilt the motor and the screen was replaced already along with oil cooler, eve delete, head studs, and Apr rod bolts. However, I went on the cheep way out and did not replace the hpop and guess what it starts and runs but no power hpop is building enough pressure to start but not build power over about quarter to half throttle. Guess you live and learn. So I'm detained to pull the turbo off and change the pump. Story of my life.
