Sct and smoke switch

So I've been running my 6.0 with the canned sct on performance mode the past few weeks. The motor is all stock, no deletes studs gaskets or anything. Am I playing with a ticking time bomb? It runs better this way either way, and how much would an EGR delete help?. 2nd, I just put a smoke switch on last week and can't help but wonder if this is bad for it? Seems like cutting the turbo off can't be good but idk if its bad either. I plan on doing the blue spring soon. And Im hooking up a fuel press gauge trans temp and egt soon also.

Re: Sct and smoke switch

Just remove your air filter, fill it with dry sand, and re install, it won't do anymore damage than a smoke switch

Re: Sct and smoke switch

Smoke switches are horrible for 6.0s, it will cause a lot of damage to your turbo so I would suggest getting rid of it.

Re: Sct and smoke switch

Lets pretend that a smoke switch doesn't hurt the truck for a moment, you still look like a douche when "rolling coal." Maybe a trip to the mall to get some Monster Energy T-shirts would be in order while using it.

Re: Sct and smoke switch

I must've missed where a bumble bee exhaust tuner car with a useless spoiler on the back and a jacked up badass diesel pouring black soot out go together with douche bags. Thanks for the helpful input. Anyways now that I know smoke switches are bad can someone give me an opinion on the sct on performance mode without an Egr delete
