Powermax Turbo

Helping a buddy out he has an 05 6.0. Needs a turbo preferably a powermax. He don't have a lot of money right now so used is probably his best option. Does anyone have one they wanna sell in good shape?

Re: Powermax turbo

Or... you can find a used 03 turbo and have it sent to Barder turbo and get it made into a stage 1.5

Re: Powermax turbo

Don't know what he charges but he seems to be a stand up guy who takes pride in his work. Haven't heard anything bad about him yet, folks whom have been running his turbos have good things to say about him.

There's two statements in there that are contradictory... Good shape and not a lot of money...

And 285s on a stock turbo... Like stock as in stage 3 mtw because it looks stock or actual no #### stock... seems like a waste of that size injectors because you can't use all of it or your melting your exhaust... If I'm wrong don't take offense feel free to teach me lol

Yea he runs factory stock turbo with those bad boys , he's going to drop in a ww2 so he can clean them up..........just kidding

But he went with 285s because he plans on a bigger turbo in the near future and for now he has a crap load of fuel pulled. It actually runs really well, doesn't even smoke.

2004 6.0 ccsb Warren 430/150 hybrids, Warren Comp Trans, Warren Dual Hpop, Billet S475 w/race cover, Marty's A1000 Fuel System, Colt Stage 2, and all the other supporting stuff
