Wire chaffing 101

Wire to the ICP sensor. Its chaffed, BAD. Does it need to be replaced completely, and do you have to replace the ICP sensor with it since its been shorting, or can you wrap it up with electrical tape and wire loom?

Re: Wire chaffing 101

If the structural integrity or the diameter of the wire is not compromised I say you can successfully tape up the wire, and it should be fine. Use 3M super 33 tape.

Re: Wire chaffing 101

Just splice in some new wire between the good parts. Then some loom.
