Cool Complete Build Thread

OK guys so I decided I am gonna go ahead and start taking the truck apart and do the head gasket work myself instead of paying a shop... so I am starting a build thread. Please check my parts list below and tell me if I am missing anything as this is my first build on a 6.0. I already have Edge CTS, AFE intake, and MBRP 4 inch turbo back exhaust. I decided that I might as well do everything on the how to make a 6.0 bulletproof sticky while it was all apart. The only things off that list I didn't decide to do was the remote oil cooler kit and the oil bypass filter setup.

I have 36 gallons of distilled water, a gallon of restore, a gallon of restore plus, and 4 gallons of CAT ELC for the coolant flush process.

injector o rings - 3c3z-9229-AA

6 new copper crush washer for fuel lines - 3c3z-9A375-AA
2 orings for oil tube - W300012
2 orings for oil tube - W302209
2 orings for oil tube - w301390
2 orings for oil tube - w301386
Ford intake manifold gasket set - 3C3Z-9439-AA
Ford head gasket kit - 4C3Z-6051-EB
Ford exhaust gasket set - 6C3Z-9448-A
Ford valve cover gaskets
Ford Turbo Bolt/O-ring and gasket Kit
Ford Blue Spring fuel pressure regulator kit
6.4 Banjo Bolts
Updated Dummy Plugs - W302908
Updated Stand Pipes - 6E7Z9A332A
STC HPOP fitting update kit - 4C3Z9B246F
Updated oil drain tube - 6C3Z9T515A
Updated oil feed line - 3C3Z9T516A
XDP 6.0L Coolant Filtration System
ARP Studs - 250-4202
EGR Complete Delete Kit
EGT, FP, and Volt gauges in triple pillar pod
6.0 Fuel Pressure Adapter from strictly
SCT X3 with tunes from Vivian
Heads cleaned, pressure checked, and resurfaced
AC system Drained before tear down

The total for all the parts including shipping is $2686.30 not including the coolant flush supplies I already had.

you do not need the 4 O ring kits cuz those orings come with the new pipes so that saves 25 dollars

and I will take lots of pics... I am doing it without pulling the cab or motor and using the instruction from my Ford Workshop manual that should be here tommorow

turned out great have not had a single issue since then the truck has been through two more builds and is now on its third build and getting a whole list of custom parts I built and twin hpops and 350/100 conventionals

2004.5 Mods: CTS, Lots Of Gauges, 7 inch Stack, ARP Studs, Tuned by Eric, SAP Diesel Full Fuel System, Nate Built Ported Intake Manifold, Mechman Alt, BPD 6 Phase Ficm, BPD Oil Cooler, BPD Oil Bypass, Warren 350cc conventionals, SAP Diesel/Warren Diesel Twin Pump Kit, SAP Diesel Triple Turbos and SAP Diesel Trans in Progress.
