Re: 155's and stock fuel?

I have heard that a healthy stock fuel pump can keep up with 155s but I dont have any hard evidence. What I would recommend is to have your buddy get a fuel pressure gauge to see his fuel pressure is doing right now and go from there. Let us know what his fuel pressure is doing with stock injectors and a performance tune at WOT.

Re: 155's and stock fuel?

Well if he is already in there, I would recommend 155s too as the fuel system will more than likely handle normal driving but I wouldn't do it without putting a fuel pressure gauge on as well. And hey if he sees fuel pressure dropping, then it is time to upgrade the fuel system too.

Talk to Fedexairmech about his fuel system. He has something that WILL handle 155s with no problem and is as cheap as they come. Hope this helps.

Oh no he doesn't actually sell his fuel system. He will just tell you what he has and where to find it.

If I were him I would put a fuel system on his truck and a regulated returned , get some gauges on the truck, it will only help the truck in the long run

Re: 155's and stock fuel?

I have no doubt that the stock fuel pump can keep up with 155s and a RR but I think it is also important to be monitoring fuel pressure because (IMO) you just gotta know.
