2006 Ford F350 Crew Cab 4x4 DRW Increase MPG?

I have recently purchased a 2006 Ford F350 6.0 Diesel Crew Cab 4x4 with dual rear wheels. I am new to the diesel truck world. I just purchased an EGR delete kit and am anxious to get this installed. I plan to use this as a daily driver for my construction company. I would like to know what to do in order to increase my MPG. I appreciate your suggestions!

They eat fuel no matter what you do. Im lucky to get 14 around town in my 06 DRW 4x4 but it also has 4:11 gears.

06 F-350 CCLB 4x4 Arp's, Lead Foot EGR delete, SCT oil fitting, blue springs, 6.4 banjo bolts, 8" single stack, Erics tunes

04 F-250 CCSB 4x4 EGR delete, 5"

02 F-450 CCLB 4x4 6-speed service body

Maybe a ficm tune and an sct but it really depends on how you drive it and what you do with it.

2005 F350 ex-cab long bed, 4x4. SRW. Big tires, bolts here and there...deleted a few things, added a few others, a couple monitoring devices.

Custom tunes and ficm tuner. It got me 2-3mpg. I get 15-16 all around. Mines only a 250 but it has 35's on 22" wheels which are pretty damn heavy.

Air your tires to max. Ride sucks, but less rolling resistance. And a light right foot, keep under 2,000 RPM. That being said these trucks are not made for fuel mileage.

Get a ford ranger to drive around in. Other than that your not in the best of vehicles for mpgs.

Ha some good advice for sure....Hell I barely get 10 but some of it is my fault but that said I get worse if I'm running the stock tune. Get an SCT and a good Tow tune and you should see a slight increase in mpg and a lil more kick to boot. I've read that Rev-x and or Archoil 9100 can lead to increased mpg's also but cannot verify this info yet....
