stock down pipe removal

needing some suggestions on how to get the stock down pipe out,i cut the pipe behind the transmission cross member but am having a hell of a time getting it out, truck has a manual trans, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If your not worried about it cut it up till you get it out

Sawzaw and cut up as far as you can and in front of the cross member.

Pull the turbo and up pipes gives you a lot of room. As also said cut it in front of the trans crossmember.

I just drop the crossmember and weasel it out.

why did you cut it? just pull the turbo and loosen the manifold bolts and pull it all out....

2005 CC FX4...compounds and everything else that goes with em.

You guys have to be joking about removing the turbo. With 2 people you can have the down pipe out in 2 or 3 minutes

doh!! I was thinking of the uppipe when he said downpipe. I just did mine a couple weeks ago so its still on the brain. advice fail.

2005 CC FX4...compounds and everything else that goes with em.
