I asked for it, now not sure i like it?

Ok i decided to install a 4" turbo back exaust and now at certain rpms i get a vibration more accurately a resonance like blowing into a pop bottle and making it hum, yikes it like i'm real aggressive mudders, let off the throttle it goes away hit the throttle and it goes away but 1500 rpm its very annoying any thoughts I've triple checked clearance no issues there. Btw its an 04 f250. Thanks in advance for any tips i'm new to the diesel game and still learning.

Is it all pipe, or do you have a muffler?

I had the same problem and found a u bolt rubbing the heat shield. Maybe double check everything?

Ok i found rub marks on exhaust by the spring hanger when the truck is not running there is clearance but when running at certain rpms its obviously touching can i put something between them like heat resistant rubber to deaden the sound? Problem is if i go away from the spring hanger clearance on the up pipe becomes an issue any help on this is appreciated i know someone has had to run into this before i'm thinking about adding a dimple with a hammer but only as a last resort.

Loosen the turbo clamp until u have enough clearance from all the cross members and everything mine use to do the same thing and it takes a while to get it right, just make sure u get it spaced out enough because when the truck is on its gonna vibrate alot specially from the downpipe , once u get it where u want it with good enough clearance on both sides tighten the [email protected]@t out of the turbo clamp
