im looking to get the best scanner so i can see whats wrong with my truck. also can the edge cts insight read hpo pressure for my truck?can it read fuel pressure? i have an 04 with late 04 engine with icp on the valve cover. would a auto engunity with ford bundle be better than edge as far as reading parameters.

Re: edge cts ?'s

I would go with AE if I had to do it over.

Re: edge cts ?'s

Yea if you're looking for a diagnostic tool, I would get an AE over the CTS but if you want (IMO) the best gauge display out there that can be set up to monitor just about everything you want to while running, then I would get a CTS.

Just know that the CTS and AE can not in stock form monitor fuel pressure. You have to set up the CTS to do that and the AE can not but the AE can do A LOT of things that the CTS can not like cylinder power balance tests, monitor exhaust back pressure, etc. It really comes down to if you want a diagnostic tool or a monitoring device. Hope this helps.

Re: edge cts ?'s

Yes it can. The thing to keep in mind though is that it is pulling all of its info from the OBDII port. So for HPO pressure (injection control pressure) to be read accurately, you are gonna need to have the truck on its stock tune.
