The red and yellow wires are the thermocouple. Do not apply power to them!

Remember that the red wire on a thermocouple is the negative, not the positive when hooking it up to the gauge, or er terminating the mini connector.

If you have power and ground, it could be a bad probe

I had an autometer ultralite pyro go bad on me too. Just stopped reading one day, it had power to the guage and everything. Bought a new one and put it in with the old probe and it was good to go! I dont know what made it go bad...

Re: autometer pyro guage junk??

I like my autometer gauges. I will NEVER run isspro ever again. Paid a lot for them and could never keep them working on my old 12v. Switched to autometer and then never had problem. Also running autometer on my 6.0l w/out problem. Call autometer they will probably send you a new one.

Oh dang man. Well good luck with how ever you decide to fix it. I personally dont like the cts but that's just me. I happen to like the look of the gauges.
