Insight CTS monitor parameters??

I installed my Edge Insight CTS and my oil temp and coolent temp stay about with 5* of each other. Any advice on what my other parameters should be? I'm going to do the egt monitor when I get the other engine work done(egr delete, oil cooler, studs, ect). Thanks

Injection control pressure, injector pulse width, manifold abs pressure, intake temp, mass air flow.
I also saw that its throwing the code P0279 cylinder #7 injector circuit low. Any thoughts?

Re: Insight CTS monitor parameters??

Ok let's see here. ICP wont be accurate if you're tuned and will vary significantly based on oil temp. When everything is good and hot, at idle it should be right around 600, 12-1500 cruising and like 4000psi at WOT. This is of course with stock tuning or other tuning that allows the ICP value to be read properly from the OBDII port. I have no idea on PW. I usually see values in the 1.?? something like 1.1-1.3 for most of my driving when I was on stock sticks. I havent checked with the bigger injectors. MAP should be boost plus 15psi. IAT1 should be right at or less than ambient by a couple degrees. I have never monitored IAT2. I also got nothing on MAF readings. Hopefully some others can chime in here to help out and correct me and/or give more info. Sorry I cant be of more help.

Re: Insight CTS monitor parameters??

EOT/ECT will let you observe indirectly the condition of your oil cooler (you want these values to remain within 15 degrees of each other) at 10* i think your cooler are getting plugged, mine run ECT 192-194* EOT 200* and pulling my 5er up a 7% grade about 6mi long in 95* weather ECT 218* EOT 228* and the fan sounds like a jet plane and it turns on around 212-214*
FP so you can protect your fuel injectors (stay between 45 and 70 psi) Mine before reg spring kit 50lbs idle WOT 44lbs after 62-64lbs idle 58lbs WOT my injectors love it.
EGT to stay below 1300 degrees F so you don't melt metal components you can go to 1500* for a very short time.
TFT Max 185*- 200-220* Trouble
FICM---Must be a +45volts 48.5 volts just right
ICP---Must have 500lbs to start, run 1100 to 1350lbs cold, Idle hot 580lbs and hot 3800 to 4000lbs at WOT
ICPv--0.8-1.6
VGT--15% to 85%
Boost--Max 28lbs on a stock motor
