Re: volant CIA

the one I had on my 5.4 3v was awesome. great workman ship and good noise

I expect their diesel version to be as good. throw some pics up when you get it. I'll never install one, but they're always pretty to look at

Re: volant CIA

My buddy had one and I really liked how it fit in the engine bay and everything. I actually debated getting one over the S&B for a little bit but I found the S&B cheaper so that was the route I went. I am sure it will be fine.

Re: volant CIA

I dont know. I've heard differing arguments about both sides. Mine right now is oiled and is fine.

Re: volant CIA

how often do you maintenance your truck?

lightly oil the filter and check it after 1,000 miles.

I personally wouldn't spend anymore money on it. Just slightly oil and keep up on that. I would though look at getting a good dust sock. These filters are decent, but they're filtration isn't anything compared to OEM

Re: volant CIA

Yea that's why I still have oem Bc I dusted a turbo with a aem drop in filter, but with the mods I have now my intake is so restrictive I can't even hear a whistle from my turbo so I broke down and got one. So u think I need to clean every 1000 miles!?!?!? I did get a pre filter also
