Exclamation Diesel Shops in North Atlanta???

I'm trying to find someone in N. Atl to work on my truck for my wife while I am deployed in case anything goes wrong. Anyone got any suggestions? I would prefer someone who is not of the "greasy slimeball" caliber lol ... Please let me know your thoughts crew...

Re: Diesel Shops in North Atlanta???

I am currently stationed at Dobbins AFB and looking for a service shop that is TRUSTED... She will at least have to get an oil change and Praying nothing breaks but it is prone to... So i'm basically looking for a full service diesel shop.

Re: Diesel Shops in North Atlanta???

I can't recommend a shop on our side of town, haven't found one but also haven't looked.

I am on the north side of Cartersville, about 40 minutes or so north of Dobbins right off highway 41 (though coming I75 is faster, exit 296). If you all ever need some help let me know I have a home shop with air and tools. If you can't find a trusted place for oil changes bring the truck and materials by and I'll do them. My wife can keep your wife entertained.

PHP is in Winder.
Leadfoot Diesel is a little ways west in Loganville.
Savage Diesel is down the road in Smyrna
The guy from Powerstroke Help is in Buford (forgot the name of his place)
Robs Performance in Conyers
There's a place in Mableton also, can't remember the name either.
Garmons Diesel in Griffin (I don't usually recommend unless emergency)

Edit - Thanks for your service. Come home safe.

Re: Diesel Shops in North Atlanta???

I can't tell you much about the others, but I wouldn't let Leadfoot touch my truck. Haven't dealt with them personally but from friends that have dealt with them. Although I am not trying to bash them since I don't have first-hand experience, just through my friends..
