Re: Coolant filter kit supplies

You'll need the filter and holder.
About 4ft of 3/8 heater hose
2 fittings to go to and from the housing unit.
2 T fittings for the hose
You cann also get 2 valves so you can shut off the collant flow when you change the filter. I'll try to get a picture of how much sh!t my filter cleaned up.

06 F-250 6.0 (general nightmare) 2.5 pulling truck

You can get the coolant filter head at Car Quest the part number is 89019 but you will have to make a mounting bracket for it. It runs about 44 dollars.

It seems to be good quality its cast iron.I personally don't use it. It's the coolant head that's on guzzle's 7.3 mod page that he uses. I just went the easy way and bought the whole kit online

Re: Coolant filter kit supplies

Need a little help....I'm fixing to run 4" turbo back, replace my current programmer with a H&S Black Maxx, and do a EGR delete. Is it necessary to go ahead and do the oil cooler?
